Privacy policy Place and People

We value each user and are committed to protecting the information you entrust to us in our mobile app. This section explains how we collect, process, store, and use your personal information, as well as your rights with respect to that information.

This document uses the following definitions, among others:

• The Privacy Policy is the document you are currently reading;
• Place and People (also "App") is a mobile application available for download through the App Store and Google Play;
• Place and People (also "Company") - Place and People LLC, incorporated under the laws of the United States of America, State of Florida;
• User Account (also "account"; "account") - The personal account that a user creates within the app to use the functionality of the Place and People app;
• Personal Data (also "personal information") - any information relating to a directly or indirectly identified or identifiable individual (the subject of personal data);
• Personal data operator - a state body, municipal authority, legal entity or individual, independently or together with other persons organizing and (or) carrying out processing of personal data, as well as determining the purpose of personal data processing, the composition of personal data to be processed, actions (operations) performed with personal data;
• Processing of personal data - any action (operation) or a set of actions (operations), performed with or without the use of automation means with personal data, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, change), extraction, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), anonymization, blocking, removal, destruction of personal data.

1. Place and People

Place and People LLC, incorporated under the laws of the United States of America, State of Florida. Place and People LLC acts as the operator of the personal data processed through the Place and People application.

2. Applicable privacy policy

This privacy policy applies to the information that we collect during your use of the Place and People LLC application, as well as during the execution by Place and People LLC of any agreements and contracts concluded with users.

This privacy policy applies only to the processing of personal data of users who are citizens of the Russian Federation or other CIS countries. Use of the Place and People application signifies the user's unconditional consent to the current privacy policy and the specified terms of processing personal data. If you do not agree to these terms, you must refrain from using the Place and People application.

3. Information gathered

The categories of personal information we process depend on how you interact with the app.

In some cases, a user may provide or refrain from providing certain personal information, but access to certain features of the app may also depend on the user providing certain data and the amount of data provided.

During the use of the application, we may, among other things, process the following data: Information provided by the user themselves.

In order to create your account and grant you access to the use of the app, we may need, among other things, the following personal data:

• Name/username;
• Date, month, year of birth;
• Email address;
• Gender;
• Height;
• Zodiac sign;
• Occupation;
• Function with a choice of gender;
• Function for selecting preferences from the application description;
• Photos.

Personal information collected during the use of the application may include the following data:

• Geolocation of the user's device;
• Device information, which may include, but is not limited to, information about the computer and/or mobile device you use to access the Place and People app, including hardware model, operating system and version, web browser used and other device identifiers;
• Server log data, which may include, but is not limited to, your registration information, date and time of visits, pages/profiles viewed, date and time of compatibility tests, date and time of visits to the private messaging section, your IP address, time spent in the Place and People app;
• Information collected through tracking technologies. We and our service providers use various technologies to collect information when you interact with the app, including web beacons.

Users

Other users may provide information about you when you use our app, such as when you file a complaint about your activities.

4. Purposes of processing and use of users' personal data

The main purpose of collecting user information is to enable and improve the use of the Place and People service.

As part of the above purpose, we may process personal data ourselves and through third parties in order to:

• Provide access to the application in accordance with the user agreement, including to create and manage an account, perform matching profiles;
• Improve the operation of the application, including improving the compatibility profile matching system, the quality of customer service, improving existing application functionality, and adding new functionality;
• Develop new Place and People apps independently and by entities within the same group of individuals as Place and People;
• Provide personalized selections within the app;
• Conduct research and development to improve the functionality of the app;
• Conduct statistical and other research based on aggregated data sets;
• Execute user requests and provide technical support to the user;
• Liaise with the user, including sending notices, requests and information regarding the use of the application, execute agreements and contracts;
• Detect and prevent violations of the User Agreement and this Policy, for example, by studying complaints received from users, studying and developing countermeasures against violations of the User Agreement and this Policy, analyzing and accumulating information about cases of violations of the User Agreement and this Policy that have occurred;
• Form personalized promotional materials and provide them to the user;
• Properly perform the obligations imposed on the Company in accordance with the law.

5. Processing of personal information and its transfer to third parties

In some cases, in order to develop the Place and People application, optimize its operation and offer new application functionality by us and/or legal entities belonging to the same group of persons, we may transfer some of your personal data to partners, service providers and/or other third parties.

To ensure your privacy and the security of your personal data, we will ensure that such transfers are in compliance with all applicable laws.

We may transfer your personal data to third parties (including partners, service providers, persons affiliated with Place and People, etc.) located in other countries provided that the necessary requirements of the Federal Law dated July 27, 2006 N 152-FZ "On Personal Data" are observed.

In this case, before such a transfer, we always receive confirmation that such countries provide adequate protection of your personal data and thus your personal data will be protected no less reliably than it is provided in Russia.

In addition to the conditions above, if the specified processing will be carried out fully or partially on the territory of the states that do not provide an adequate level of protection of personal data in accordance with applicable law, this processing will be carried out exclusively in compliance with all legal requirements and with the necessary legal grounds.

In case of transfer of your personal data outside of Russia, Place and People ensures its legality, including, but not limited to, the existence of the legal basis for such transfer and compliance with other provisions of the Federal Law of 27.07.2006 N 152-FZ "On Personal Data".

We may partially share data with third parties if:

• The user has consented to such action;
• The transfer is necessary for the use of the application by the user or to fulfill a specific agreement or contract with the user;
• The transfer is stipulated by Russian or other applicable law within the framework of the procedure established by law;
• In order to ensure the possibility of protecting the rights and legitimate interests of the Company or third parties, for example, in cases where the user violates the User Agreement of the application, this policy or other commitments made.

The Company keeps personal information of users in accordance with the applicable laws of the Russian Federation, the United States of America.

Personal information of the user is processed by the Company throughout the term of use of the application by the user and/or validity of agreements and contracts with the user taking into account the requirements of the applicable legislation of the Russian Federation, the United States of America.

6. Changing and deleting personal information

If a user submits a request to delete an account, the account is deleted by Place and People.

A user can view, update or delete any personal information in an account at any time. He or she can edit the information in his or her account online to do so.

Your rights under this policy may be restricted as required by law. In particular, such restrictions may include the Company's obligation to retain information that has been modified or deleted by the user for a period prescribed by law, and to transfer such information to a governmental authority in accordance with the legally prescribed procedure.

7. Protection of personal data

The Company takes necessary and sufficient organizational and technical measures to protect personal information from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, distribution, as well as from other illegal actions of third parties with it.

8. Protection of minors

The user must be at least 18 years old to use the Place and People app. If you suspect that a profile owner is underage, please notify us.

We will take steps to verify the user's age and, if necessary, delete the profile and all information about the user, and monitor attempts to re-register underage persons to the app.

9. Changing the privacy policy

The Company has the right to make changes to this privacy policy.

Place and People will notify users of any changes to this Policy by posting information on the App. Subsequent use of the App after changes to the current Policy are made will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.

A new revision of the policy will be effective upon posting, unless otherwise provided in the new policy.

10. Applicable law

The law of the United States of America, Florida, and, where applicable, the law of the Russian Federation or the law of the relevant other CIS Member State shall apply to this policy and the relationship between the user and the Company arising out of the application of the privacy policy.
